Keep your suspended ceiling tiles in place – with hold-down clips
Despite being extremely lightweight, it takes more than a slight draught to dislodge a suspended ceiling tile. Yet in large or old spaces, where a combination of draughts and doors can change the pressure in a room, suspended ceiling tiles can lift. And the sound of them flapping back into place can be a frustrating, echoing one.
Yet all you need to fix the problem is a tiny clip...
Suspended ceiling hold-down clips – don't get in a flap
That's where suspended ceiling tile hold-down clips come into their own. Place half a dozen or so clips around the edge of the tile and it will be held firmly in place. So when the wind starts to blow – or the pressure changes - your suspended ceiling tiles stay in one place.
Buy suspended ceiling hold down clips
You can choose from two types of hold down clip. Our standard hold down clip (100 pce) is perfect for holding most suspended ceiling tiles in place. A pack of 500 hold down clips is available for larger ceiling areas.
If your suspended ceiling has to regularly face the elements (e.g. for ceiling tiles near the frequently opening door of a shopping centre) choose a tighter grip.
These heavy duty hold down clips will keep your tiles firmly in place, no matter how hard the wind tries to dislodge them.
The alternative to hold-down clips
If you're choosing hold down clips because your room is draughty there is another option. Suspended ceiling insulation packs, when laid above your suspended ceiling, will not only keep your tiles in place; they'll reduce heat loss too. Save money on your energy bills – choose suspended ceiling insulation.
